Meet Our UC Davis Student Reps

“Morgan Weed is the current third year veterinary student representative for the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. After growing up in Las Vegas, NV, she attended San Diego State University studying Biology before moving up to Northern California to work towards her DVM degree. Morgan is interested in going into small animal medicine with an emphasis in emergency medicine and surgery. She has a zoo of animals at home, including 2 dogs, a leopard gecko, a desert tortoise, and the frequent foster kittens through the UC Davis SVM Orphan Kitten Project.”

"Hi everyone! My name is Izzy and I am a second-year veterinary student interested in pursuing a career in small animal medicine. I am passionate about incorporating holistic therapies such as acupuncture into the way that I practice along with fostering a deep relationship with the client and patient. Outside of veterinary medicine, I enjoy competing in triathlons, practicing yoga, and spending time with my rescue Aussie, Churro! I have been a SVVMA student representative for the past two years and have made so many great connections and have had the ability to learn from incredible people!

"Hi! My name is Eugene, and I am a first year at UC Davis. I graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2023 and spent my gap year in a research lab studying evolutionary biology. I am originally from LA and am so relieved to be back in California. In my spare time, I love hanging out with friends and family, reading, and running (I'm trying to love it). I'm so excited to be a part of this wonderful organization and to meet all the amazing people that are a part of it!"
